So, post flood in Iowa as many know. Basement was flooded and we have LOTS of mud and sludge down there. Anyway, is there a hand pump that would be tough enough to pump sludge? Like a two man railroad car style setup? I was thinking we'd use a shop-vac to suck the mud off the floor and carpet maybe a hose to losen it into a slurry , BUT, I sure as hell don't want to carry a 16 gallon shop-vac up stairs full of sludge.
Need a hand pump that can pump sludge/mud out of basement...
What To Do When Your Water Well Begins To Pump Sand Or Grit
These are the primary examples of the different types of pumps available to municipalities. While this variety offers plenty of options to pick from, it also can make the process a bit overwhelming. Whether an engineer, corporate manager or technician, selecting a pump for a water or wastewater application is a highly important decision. There are many styles to choose from and each is designed a bit differently. While all pumps will move liquid effectively from one location to another, all pumps are not created equal.
