A graduate assistant in the Office of Student Financial Aid Client Service Unit will assist financial aid advisors in providing financial aid services to students, faculty, staff and visitors during the day and some evenings and Saturdays. The successful candidate will staff the front counter and phone bank, providing both general and specific financial aid information and assistance to clients and callers. The graduate assistant will be required to learn federal, state, and institutional regulations, as well as policies and procedures and must be able to effectively communicate the regulations and policies to students and parents. The job requires the graduate assistant to adhere to the confidentiality standards and laws required in dealing with financial aid information. Other duties as assigned.
